Rotation
It is recommended that you rotate your rug once per year, to ensure even wear.
Vacuuming
Oriental rugs, should be vacuumed on a regular basis to remove dust, dirt and restore fibers. Be sure not to vacuum the fringe with your regular vacuum, it is best to use a vacuum hose method to avoid damage. Vacuum both sides.
Padding
In order to protect it from dirt, wear and rug slippage a good pad should be used under your rug. Cleaning- Professional washing is recommended every one to three years for the cleaning of your Oriental rug depending on traffic. This will help bring back the color and softness of the rug.
